Javier Mendez

Javier Mendez has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Javier started their career as a Summer Helper at St. Edward's University, where they assisted with painting dorm buildings and performed maintenance tasks. After that, they worked as an Intern and later as a Part-Time Assistant Construction Manager at Highland Homes, where they supervised the completion of new homes and supported construction managers with scheduling and management.

In 2015, Javier joined HENSEL PHELPS CONSTRUCTION CO as a Field Engineer, where they served as the point of contact for subcontractors, coordinated project phases, and ensured quality and cost control standards.

Returning to Highland Homes in 2016, Javier held various roles, including Construction Manager, Senior Construction Manager, and currently works as a Project Manager. In these roles, they have managed projects, overseen jobsite activities, and leveraged accounting principles to maintain accurate records.
