Ana Avila

Ana Avila has a diverse work experience in the communications and marketing field. Ana is currently the Director of Communications at Highland Park ISD since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Specialist at Garland Independent School District from July 2022 to September 2023. Ana also served as a Multimedia Journalist at Edinburg Cisd from August 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they worked as a Reporter/Communication Specialist at City Of Edinburg from December 2018 to August 2021. Ana started their career as a Media Intern at Edinburg Cisd from October 2017 to December 2018. Additionally, they have instructor experience as an Instructor at Universal Cheerleaders Association from June 2015 to July 2018.

Ana Avila pursued their education at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Ana completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from 2015 to 2018. Following that, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication, General from 2020 to 2022.
