Emily Miznazi

Emily Miznazi currently serves as a K-4 Science Lab Teacher at Highland Park ISD, starting in August 2022. Prior to this role, Miznazi was a 6th Grade Science Teacher at Plano ISD from August 2016 to July 2022, where responsibilities included managing classroom learning, contributing as a District Science Curriculum Writer, and participating in various leadership roles such as Student Council Sponsor and Science Fair Coordinator. Notable achievements during this tenure include being a TI Award Finalist and Teacher of the Month in October 2020. Miznazi also has experience as a Substitute Teacher and as an Orientation Leader at the University of Texas at Dallas, where leadership skills were honed by assisting over 3000 freshmen through orientation programs. Emily Miznazi earned a degree in Psychology with a focus on Child Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Dallas.
