Lorna Jack

A chartered accountant and a graduate of Aberdeen University, Lorna has served on the Board as a non-executive director since March 2014.

She chaired its audit committee for over three years, becoming Interim Chair in 2017, before being appointed Chair of the Board in 2019.

Lorna is the Vice Chair of the Scottish Funding Council Board and the Chair of its Finance Committee.

Lorna previously held the position of chief executive for the Law Society of Scotland for 13 years until she stepped down in January 2022. The Law Society Scotland is the professional body for Scottish solicitors. She was also previously a Trustee and Treasurer of the McConnell International Foundation.
