Marianne Akins Ms

Marianne Akins MS, RD, LD is a dedicated clinical nutrition professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Highlands Medical Center since July 2023, Marianne previously held the position of Clinical Dietitian (Lead) at Culinary Services Group from December 2022 to July 2023 and worked as the Nutrition Care Manager (Registered Dietitian) at Morrison Living from December 2021 to December 2022. Earlier in Marianne's career, a role as Shift Manager/Assistant Event Coordinator at CircusTrix provided valuable management experience. Marianne earned a Master’s degree in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Business from Auburn University College of Human Sciences.
