Andrea Fak

Andrea Fak has a range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Andrea started their career in 2003 at Saint Mary's Hospital as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. In 2008, they became the Director of Laboratory Services at Physicians' Specialty Hospital. Andrea then served as the Blood Bank Lead Technologist at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks from 2011 to 2017. From 2018 to 2019, Andrea worked at Mercy as the Blood Bank Lead/Supervisor. In 2022, they became the Interim Laboratory Director at Willow Creek Women's Hospital. Currently, they hold the role of Clinical Lab Director at Highlands Oncology Group, starting in 2023.

Andrea Fak completed their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Andrea then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, which they completed in the years 2003 to 2006. Currently, Andrea is studying at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they are expected to graduate in 2022 with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nutrition Sciences.
