Samuel Tate

Samuel Tate, PMP, CSM, has extensive experience in project and portfolio management, currently serving as the Manager of the Project Management Office at Highlight since October 2018, where Samuel established a new PMO for the FCC IT and manages a team that supports project managers throughout the IT project lifecycle. Previous roles include Portfolio Manager at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where Samuel led the IT capital planning process, and Senior Consultant for the FCC's IT Enterprise Planning & Performance Team, focusing on the development of project management methodologies. Samuel has also contributed to the Veterans Affairs Office of Information Technology as a Project Analyst and served as a Program Manager for Youth For Understanding USA. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maine.
