Lisa Carmona

Lisa Carmona is the Chief Operating Officer and Education Group President at Highlights for Children, a position held since January 2024, where responsibility includes accelerating organizational growth and enhancing innovation. Prior to this role, Lisa served as President of Highlights Education at Zaner-Bloser from January 2018 to January 2024 and held multiple senior leadership positions at McGraw-Hill Education from January 2006 to January 2018, including SVP/Chief Product and Operations Officer for the PreK-12 product portfolio. Earlier in career, positions included Editorial Director at School Specialty, Inc. and School Zone Publishing, as well as Editorial roles at South-Western Educational Publishing. Lisa earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Central Michigan University.
