Jesse Chiem

Jesse Chiem has a strong background in information technology and programming. They currently serve as the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure & Systems Administration at Highline College, where they oversee various tasks such as server administration, cloud-based infrastructure management, networking, telecommunications, and incident response support. Prior to this, Jesse worked as a Lead Coding Instructor at Elevate Scholars, teaching computer programming skills. They also have experience as an Independent Programming Tutor at Wyzant, specializing in teaching data science packages and computer science fundamentals. Earlier in their career, Jesse served as a Computing and Technology Manager at the University of Washington, managing IT infrastructure and providing support to various departments. They also worked as a Developer/Engineer at OHSU, where they developed software applications and provided system administrative support. Jesse's work experience also includes roles at the University of Portland, Washington State University, and Washington Sensory Disabilities Services, where they gained experience in multimedia support, research assistance, and videography.
