Highline College
Robert Butler is an experienced agricultural educator and consultant with a focus on supporting immigrant and refugee farmers in King County through leadership roles at Highline College. As Director and Instructor, Robert has developed extensive programs in agricultural education, contract management, and collaboration with various organizations. Additional roles include serving as a Food Systems Advisory Council Member for King County and Agriculture Product Consultant for Chomp, where Robert enhances biofertilizer products. Contributions also extend to the King Conservation District, Somali Sustainable Agriculture Association, and various consulting positions, demonstrating a commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture and local food systems. Robert holds an M.S. in Agriculture and a B.S. in Organic Agriculture Systems from Washington State University.
