Kelly Land has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kelly started their career at Kelljohn, Inc. in 1986, where they worked as President until 1994. Kelly then joined Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in 1995 as a Manager, a position they held until 2000. In 2000, Kelly joined Firstdoor as the Chief Technology Officer, serving until 2003. Kelly then worked at Firstdoor again in 2004, but this time as President. In the same year, Kelly joined Copenhill, Inc. as President and later moved to HighMatch (formerly Berke) in 2005 as the CEO.
Kelly Land attended Washington and Lee University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics.
