Fergonn Fernandez

Fergonn Fernandez, P. Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Fergonn currently serves as the Director of Sales at NewRocket, where they deliver innovative and creative solutions to a wide range of customers in various sectors. Prior to joining NewRocket, Fergonn held the same role at Iceberg Networks Corporation, which was later acquired and rebranded to NewRocket. At Iceberg Networks, Fergonn focused on providing risk and security intelligence to help organizations make informed business decisions. Before their time at Iceberg Networks, Fergonn worked at Bell, where they held various positions including Senior Associate Director in Security Sales and Associate Director in the VP Office - Sales Business Strategy and Operations. Fergonn also held roles in strategic partner relationship management, product marketing, network engineering, and access network engineering. Fergonn began their career at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation as a Laboratory Specialist.

Fergonn Fernandez, P. Eng., holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Ryerson University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Fergonn also has a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School, completed in 2021. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including a Licensed Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario in 2002, and several certificates related to financial crime compliance and forensic accounting from the Financial Crime Academy, with the most recent being in 2022.
