Kara Alam

Kara Alam currently serves as the Director of Talent and Business Development at HighPoint Associates, starting in May 2021. Previously, Kara worked at AlphaSights from January 2018 to May 2021 as a Senior Associate on the Client Service Team, where responsibilities included conducting market analysis, managing complex projects, and coaching new hires. Earlier experiences include a teaching assistant role at Occidental College, writing for The Occidental Weekly, and internships at the United Nations Global Compact and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Kara began a career in leadership and project management as the Athletic Director at Camp Robindel and has contributed to public sector research while serving as a Development Report Research Analyst for the Government of Punjab. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College and another Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam.
