Jenny Guo has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Gemologist and accredited Jewelry Specialist at GIA (Gemological Institute of America). Jenny later became a co-founder and investor for The Magnetic Project in 2019. In 2018, they were recognized on the Forbes 30 U 30 list in China and Asia. Jenny also co-founded LumiereVR and served as a co-founder and core team member at Highstreet, where they worked on reimagining the future of retail using Blockchain and Metaverse. In 2022, they joined Sorekara as a Partner. Prior to these roles, they worked as a researcher and lecturer at Harvard University and served as an Ambassador at Draper University. Additionally, they represented the China Association of Auctioneers from 2014 to 2015. Throughout their career, Jenny has been involved in bringing mission-driven stories to life through virtual reality, creating high-end gem and diamond trade businesses, and exploring the intersection of technology and blockchain in the jewelry industry.

Jenny Guo has a diverse education history. Jenny started their educational journey at Bishop Rosecrans High School from 2007 to 2009. After completing high school, they attended Bard College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies with a focus on Political Risk, Military Strategies, Film & Electronic Art, and Theater Performance.

During their time at Bard College, Jenny also engaged in studying Globalization and International Affairs at Bard College's Globalization and International Affairs program. Additionally, they briefly attended EHL, where they completed the CREM Program in Management in Restaurant, Culinary, and Hospitality.

In 2015, Jenny enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) program at Columbia University, specializing in Creative Producing. However, they decided to drop out of the program later that year. In pursuit of expanding their knowledge and skills, they completed the Gemologist Graduate (G.G) program at GIA (Gemological Institute of America) from 2012 to 2015.

Furthering their business acumen, Jenny completed the Mastering Negotiation program at Harvard Business School Online in 2017. The same year, they explored the field of Directing and Theatrical Production at Yale University's Yale School of Drama. Jenny also attended Draper University in 2015 to study Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.

Most recently, Jenny pursued higher education in business, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2019 to 2020.
