Jaakko Naski

Jaakko Naski is an experienced freelance translator with a strong background in English Language and Literature, holding a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Turku, and currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Discourse Studies. Since September 2021, Jaakko has been working with Semantix as a freelance translator focused on editing and reviewing for EU Commission GROW projects. In addition to this role, ongoing freelance work includes contributions to Toppan Digital Language, TransPerfect, HighTech Passport, Ltd., Lempisana Oy, Fasttranslator.com, and Käännöspolku Oy, with an emphasis on life sciences translation, quality management, and language consultation. Previous experience includes a position as a Junior Lecturer at the University of Turku, teaching discourse-related courses.
