Kartik Pitale

Kartik Pitale has a varied work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Kartik is currently working as a Software Engineer at Hightouch, a position they started in 2023. Prior to that, Kartik held the role of Senior Software Engineer at Bolt from November 2021 to March 2023. At Bolt, they led a team in building a machine learning platform for deploying and serving models, as well as a platform for configuring A/B tests and developing experimentation libraries and data pipelines.

Before joining Hightouch and Bolt, Kartik worked at Amazon. Kartik started as a Software Development Engineer-Intern at Amazon Appstore in July 2015, where they developed analytics tools and re-designed existing software. After that, they joined Amazon India as a Software Development Engineer and worked on projects related to machine translation of movie subtitles and customer acquisition. In these roles, Kartik led a team and built engineering and machine learning solutions, as well as developed technologies to drive web traffic and analyze SEO opportunities on Amazon pages. Kartik leveraged AWS services to create large-scale distributed systems.

Kartik also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-Informatics (BISAG) in 2014. During their internship, they worked on automatic geo-referencing and image stitching of satellite images.
