Rod Shiva has a diverse work experience in various industries. Rod started their career at Target as a Senior Team Leader from 2006 to 2010 before becoming an Assistant Store Manager at Walmart from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they returned to Target as a Senior Team Leader. Rod then joined Walmart as an Assistant Store Manager from 2014 to 2016. After that, Rod worked at ListReports from 2016 to 2019, first as a Customer Success Representative and then as a Customer Success Manager, where they led a team and analyzed company data to improve software and user experience. Currently, they are the Director of Customer Value Management at Highway.ai, where they launched an upsell team and attracted and retained over 430,000 platform users while implementing successful churn mitigation programs. Prior to their corporate roles, Rod also founded their own real estate brokerage firm called Rod Shiva Realty in 2012, where they successfully bought, sold, and managed millions of dollars of real estate properties.
Rod Shiva received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from California State University, Fullerton from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications as a Real Estate Broker through the Bureau of Real Estate in October 2016, as a Department of Real Estate Licensed Salesperson in December 2012, and as a Certified Food Safety Manager through The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals in August 2012.
