Malcolm Dangerfield is an accomplished professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in asset management and infrastructure planning. Currently serving as the Head of Planning and Development at National Highways since July 2016, Malcolm leads a team focused on maintaining a safe and reliable strategic highway network in the Midlands. Previous roles include Specialist Manager at A-one+ (CH2MHill) and Structures Asset Manager at both A-one+ (CH2MHill Halcrow) and Optima Infrastructure Management. Malcolm began a career in engineering as a Graduate Engineer at Halcrow and has held positions focusing on bridge engineering and inspection for various organizations, including Lancashire County Council and Amey Mouchel. Malcolm holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Manchester, obtained in 1997.
