Benjamín Lara

Benjamín Lara has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Benjamín started their career as a Young Trainee at KPMG México in 2007 and 2008, where they gained experience in IT risk assessment and database design. In 2011, they served in a social service role at Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, where they were involved in setting up a Social Responsibility Program and conducting financial planning seminars. Benjamín then joined EY as a Trainee in 2013, focusing on risk assessment and profitability analysis.

From 2014 to 2018, Benjamín worked at Citibanamex, initially as a Junior Analyst in Product Control and later advancing to become a Treasury Clients - Product Control analyst. Benjamín Lara earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Corporate Finance and Banking with a specialization in Finance Engineering from Universidad Anáhuac, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Benjamín later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Risk Management at the same university from 2013 to 2015. In 2017, Benjamín attended the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, where they obtained a Certificate in Russian Language and Literature, completing the program in 2019. In 2022, they participated in a Certificate Program on Global Risks at Universidad Anáhuac. Additionally, Benjamín also holds certifications in Python for Big Data, which they obtained from AMAT Applied Mathematics and Actuary Training in August 2020, and a FCE (First Certificate in English) from Cambridge English Language Assessment, obtained in February 2011.
