Ian Lower

Ian Lower has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ian started their career as a Senior Developer Contract at Bull in 1987 and then moved on to National Provident Institution as a Senior Software Engineer Contract in 1988. From 1990 to 2002, they worked at Western Provident Association, where they held various roles including Senior Analyst Programmer, Business Improvements Manager, Business Systems Manager, and Head of IT. Ian then joined BSI, part of Capita Travel and Events, as an IT Director from 2005 to 2011, and later as a Business Solutions Architect from 2014 to 2015. From 2011 to 2014, they were also the IT Director at Capita Travel and Events. Following that, they worked as a Tech Support Manager at Synertec Ltd from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Higos Insurance Services Ltd as an IT Director and was responsible for developing the IT capabilities of the company. Currently, they are self-employed and semi-retired.

Ian Lower earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Staffordshire University between 1980 and 1983. Ian later pursued a Master's Degree in Leadership Studies from the University of Exeter, which was completed between 1993 and 1996.
