Alan Clarke BEng (Hons) has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alan began their career as a Design Engineer at PCM Engineering Design Limited in 1996, where they worked for three years. In 1999, they joined Total Lindsey Oil Refinery (via OnLine) as a DCS Project Engineer, overseeing a major instrument upgrade project and later managing all Capital Expenditure projects involving DCS content.

In 2014, Alan joined ENGIE Fabricom UK as an EC&I Project Engineer, responsible for projects associated with a prominent framework agreement. Alan excelled at identifying project requirements and building strong relationships with clients, resulting in increased purchase orders.

From 2018 to 2020, Alan served as a CAPEX Project Manager at British Steel, delivering projects across the entire site at Scunthorpe. Alan successfully developed schemes provided by the Senior Works Engineer, ranging from £0.4M to £0.6M.

In 2020, Alan transitioned to RB, where they worked as a Project Engineer for almost three years. Finally, in 2023, they joined HiiROC as a Project Engineer.

Alan Clarke BEng (Hons) obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Nottingham Trent University from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they also completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university, from 1991 to 1993. In addition to their educational qualifications, Alan Clarke has obtained several certifications including Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in August 2016. Alan also holds a certification as a Functional Safety Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) for Safety Instrumented Systems obtained from TÜV Rheinland AG in March 2015.
