Ate Wiekamp

Ate Wiekamp has had a diverse range of work experiences over the years. Ate currently holds the role of Chief Science Officer at HiiROC Ltd since April 2019. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of Hydrilling BV from October 2011 to May 2018. From 2001 to 2018, they worked as a Consultant at WRM. Ate also worked as a Financial Manager at Natural Energy Resource Development Ltd from 2006 to 2011. Ate has prior experience in roles such as Marketing Manager and Development Manager at Motorola from 1999 to 2001. Ate worked as a Lab Manager at Tyco Electronics from 1993 to 1999, and as a Field Engineer Wireline at Baker Atlas (Western Atlas) from 1988 to 1992. Ate began their professional career as a Lieutenant in the Royal Dutch Navy from 1986 to 1988.

Ate Wiekamp completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 1980 to 1986. Ate later pursued an MBA degree in general management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, attending from 1999 to 2000.
