Tareq Darwazeh

Tareq Darwazeh serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Jordan Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers since May 2024. In addition, Tareq holds the position of Chief Operating Officer for the MENA Region at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, where Tareq has been employed since December 2013, also taking on various senior roles including Senior Vice President and Sales and Marketing Vice President. Tareq is recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum since April 2024 and has contributed as a Board Member at the Jordan Food and Drug Administration and Capital Investments since January 2021 and January 2020, respectively. From March 2019 to May 2024, Tareq served as the Vice Chairman of the Board for the Jordanian Association of Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers. Tareq’s earlier experience includes roles at West-ward Pharmaceuticals, including Senior Sales Manager and Special Project Manager. Tareq holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Marketing from Marquette University.
