William Larkins, PhD, currently serves as President of Global Injectables and Senior Vice President, Global Head of R&D at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, a role held since August 2022. Prior to this, Larkins was the CEO of Leucadia Pharmaceuticals & Custopharm, Inc. from February 2015 to September 2022. Larkins has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held significant positions such as Vice President and General Manager at Bedford Laboratories, and Vice President of Product and Process Development at Boehringer Ingelheim. Earlier career roles include senior director and director positions at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Sandoz, Wyeth, Barr Laboratories, and DuPont Merck Pharmaceuticals. Larkins earned a PhD in Chemistry from The Ohio State University, completing studies there from 1987 to 1993, and holds a degree from Purdue University, attained from 1983 to 1987.
