Marshall Shen

Marshall Shen has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Marshall started their career at Groupon as a Software Engineer in 2012 and worked there until 2015. Marshall then joined Outcome Health as a Senior Software Engineer from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, Marshall joined PayPal where they held multiple roles, including Staff Engineer for Braintree, Staff Engineer for Venmo, and Engineering Manager for Venmo. Marshall worked at PayPal until 2021 when they became a Group Tech Lead for Venmo. In 2020, Marshall briefly worked at Classkick as the Head of Engineering. Marshall then transitioned to their current role as the Chief Technology Officer at HiLink starting in 2022.

Marshall Shen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, Statistics, and Mathematics from the University of Iowa in the years 2008 to 2012. Marshall further pursued higher education at Columbia University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, Marshall Shen has acquired several certifications, including "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in July 2020, "Deep Learning Specialization" in April 2019, "Interaction Design Specialization" in October 2017, and "Machine Learning" in November 2016.
