Jonathan Brown

Jonathan is the non-executive Chair of the firm and a fee earner in the Liverpool corporate department with 30 years of experience of corporate transactions.

Jonathan specialises in all forms of M&A corporate transactions for a wide range of corporate clients including quoted companies such as Stobart Group; large private companies like Edward Billington and Son Limited and Bibby Line Group as well as owner managed companies. Jonathan also has a wide experience of dealing with overseas companies acquiring companies in the UK and of UK companies acquiring companies overseas.

Jonathan has been involved in a wide variety of sectors but in particular transport where he has been involved in the acquisition of airports, airlines and road haulage distribution companies. The food manufacturing industry and manufacturing industries are other areas where Jonathan has particular expertise as well.

Jonathan was educated Liverpool College before reading law at Sheffield University and attending Chester College of Law being awarded LLB (Hons) and SOL (Hons) at those institutions.

Jonathan also received the Corporate Finance qualification (CF) from ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).
