Katie O'Meara

Katie O'Meara has extensive experience in talent acquisition and management. Katie has worked at a variety of companies, including Hill+Knowlton Strategies as the SVP Talent Acquisition - Americas. Prior to that, they served as the VP Corporate Talent Acquisition Lead & Executive Recruitment at WPP. Katie also worked at O'Meara Associates as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant and Professional Coach for eight years. Katie has held senior roles at Weber Shandwick and DDB, where they were responsible for talent acquisition and management. Katie also worked as a contract creative and executive recruiter at Publicis Groupe and as the Director of Creative Services at Wunderman.

Katie O'Meara has a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from DePaul University, which they obtained in 2009. Katie also holds a BA degree in Communications with a focus on Film from Columbia College Chicago. Additionally, they have studied Communications: Radio, TV & Film at Northern Illinois University. In 2015, Katie obtained their CPC (Certified Professional Coach) and ELI-MP (Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner) certifications from iPEC Coaching. Katie furthered their certifications in 2016 by obtaining their CPC certification from iPEC Coaching. In 2020, they received a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn.
