Vikki Chowney has had a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Vikki started their career as a freelance editor and writer, working with brands like O2 and Talk Talk. Vikki then worked as an editor for Centaur Media Plc, where they wrote for Reputation Online and new media age. Vikki also worked as a content editor for JaguarFuture.com during a freelance project with Spark44. Vikki then joined Econsultancy as a news editor before moving on to TMW Unlimited as the head of community and later the head of social. Vikki also held a leadership position at UNLIMITED as the head of agency for Things Unlimited. Vikki worked as a lecturer at INSEEC before joining Hill & Knowlton as the director of content and publishing strategies. Vikki later became the chief content strategist and then the global head of content and publishing, innovation, and creative lead for the US at Hill & Knowlton. Vikki also served as the director of brand partnerships at Condé Nast Britain. Throughout their career, Vikki has been involved in content strategy, social media management, brand partnerships, and consulting.
Vikki Chowney completed a Master's degree in Food Business from The Culinary Institute of America from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a BA Hons degree in Fashion Promotion & Illustration from the University for the Creative Arts between 2003 and 2006. Vikki also obtained a National Diploma in Fine Art from the same university from 2001 to 2003.
