David Hull

David Hull has over 17 years of experience in health and safety management. David'smost recent role was as the UK Head of Health & Safety at Hill & Smith PLC, where they acted as the subject matter expert for UK Health & Safety across the operating companies. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Health & Safety at Joseph Ash Galvanizing, providing strategic guidance and support to multiple business locations in the UK. David also has experience as a Health and Safety Manager at Karro Food Group, where they oversaw a large site team and ensured compliance with legislative and company policies. Earlier in their career, David worked as an HSE Lead at Petroleum Development Oman, where they provided support and guidance to a team of managers and contractors. David has also held positions as the Group HSE Manager at BAUER Resources GmbH, the Group SHEQ Manager at Redhall Group, and the Group HSE Manager at Hargreaves Services plc. Prior to that, they served as the Health & Safety Manager at Damart UK, the Regional Health & Safety Advisor at Hanson UK, and the Regional HSE Manager at DHL Freight. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety and implementing robust HSE policies and procedures.

David Hull completed their education with a postgraduate degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Warwick in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they earned a bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from the same university in 2008-2009. In 2003-2004, David obtained a Higher National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from NEBOSH. Additionally, in 2000, they attained a General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from NEBOSH. David has also obtained certifications outside of their formal education. In 2017, they obtained the OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor - Health & Safety Certification from the British Standards Institution Training Academy. Furthermore, in 1999, David achieved the IOSH Managing Safely certification from IOSH.
