Hillcrest Christian College
James Colefax is an experienced educator and media professional with a diverse background in teaching, leadership, and broadcasting. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Senior Learning Community - Pastoral at Hillcrest Christian College since January 2021, James also holds a lecturer position at Christian Heritage College, focusing on subjects related to sports and education. Additionally, James has been a radio announcer and host of 'The Story' at Vision Christian Media since January 2009, while also working as a pyrotechnician for Rapid Action Fireworks since January 2001. Previous roles include the Director of Culture and Futures, Secondary Teacher, and various leadership positions at Calvary Christian College from 2000 to 2020, alongside casual radio announcing at 96five Family Radio from 1998 to 2005. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University, as well as a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Christian Heritage College.

Hillcrest Christian College is an independent, co-educational day school with approximately 1,600 students from Prep - Year 12. We have one campus across all year levels, located in Reedy Creek, on the Gold Coast of Australia.
