Alberto Miguez

Alberto Miguez is an Electrical Cost Engineer at Hillenbrand since June 2024, previously serving as an Electrical Design Engineer at Advanced Conversion Technology, Inc. from January 2022 to June 2024. In that role, Alberto led technical efforts on military Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) power supplies, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with electrical and environmental specifications, and developed ruggedized MIL-STD-704 compliant AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies. Prior experience includes an internship at Phoenix Contact USA, where Alberto focused on de-rating guidelines for electronic components and performed Highly Accelerated Life Tests, and a cybersecurity internship at mdtel., contributing to machine learning solutions for threat detection. Alberto holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Systems Concentration from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from Elizabethtown College.
