Fredrik Seidl

Fredrik Seidl has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to present. Fredrik currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Upsales since November 2022. Prior to their current role, Fredrik served as the Head of Engineering at Upsales from April 2022 to November 2022. Before that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Upsales from February 2021 to April 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of developers, handling recruitment, onboarding, and coaching of software engineers. Fredrik also worked as a Software Engineer at Upsales from June 2016 to February 2021, where they developed with JavaScript on both the backend (Node.js) and frontend (React, Angular) for the SaaS product, Upsales CRM and Marketing Automation.

Outside of Upsales, Fredrik ran their own business as a DJ since December 2012, specializing in house music but also proficient in other genres such as Top 40, 80s, 90s, hip-hop, R&B, rap, and dancehall. Fredrik has performed at several popular clubs in Stockholm, including Sommar, Kristall, Nype, Slakthuset, and Collage.

In addition, Fredrik has served as a Board Alternate at BRF Vasatorget from May 2021 to June 2023.

Furthermore, they worked as a Trainee at Visma Consulting (formerly twoday) from August 2015 to June 2016, focusing on software engineering projects related to SharePoint, Office 365, .NET, and C# development.

Earlier in their career, Fredrik was employed as an IT Technical Support at Philips from December 2013 to August 2015, where they provided IT assistance to Nordic employees, managed IT equipment orders, and maintained a catalogue of phones, tablets, and peripherals. Fredrik also worked as a Sales Clerk at OKQ8 from May 2011 to September 2012.

Fredrik Seidl completed their high school education at JENSEN Gymnasium from 2009 to 2012. Fredrik studied social science with an economic orientation during this time. Following this, Fredrik Seidl pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and System Sciences at Stockholm University. Fredrik attended from 2012 to 2015, specializing in the field of study related to computer and system sciences.
