Tommi Cline Dnp, Rn, Ne-Bc

Tommi Cline, DNP, RN, NE-BC has a strong background in nursing leadership and administration. They have experience as the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Hillsboro Area Hospital starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Nursing at Community Hospital of Staunton from March 2022 to May 2023. From March 2021 to March 2022, they worked as the Chief Clinical Officer at Kindred Healthcare. From September 2018 to January 2021, they were the Clinical Director of Nursing at SSM DePaul Health Hospital, where they achieved impressive results such as lowering the COPD readmission rate and decreasing CLABSI rate. They served as the Patient Care Nurse Manager at Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare from December 2014 to September 2018, overseeing a 55-bed unit. Before that, they held positions at BJC HealthCare as an Infection Prevention Environmental Safety Specialist from January 2012 to December 2014, and at Alton Memorial Hospital as a Clinical Information Services Coordinator from January 2011 to January 2012, and as a Registered Nurse from January 2007 to December 2011.

Tommi Cline, DNP, RN, NE-BC, attended McKendree University and completed multiple degrees in the field of nursing. In 2010, Tommi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, specializing in Registered Nursing. Additionally, in the same year, Tommi earned another Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a focus on Management.

Continuing their education, Tommi pursued a Master of Science in Nursing from McKendree University and graduated in 2013 with a specialization in Nurse Management. Over the course of their career, Tommi obtained certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2019, they achieved the Nurse Executive (NE-BC) certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Moreover, Tommi completed the BJC Leadership Acceleration Program offered by BJC HealthCare.

Tommi's educational journey culminated with their most recent accomplishment in 2021, as they earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from McKendree University. Their doctoral studies focused on Ethical Leadership.
