Laoye Jaiyeola (FCIB, FCA, FIoD) currently serves as the Chancellor of Hillside University of Science and Technology, Okemesi-Ekiti, a position held since November 2023. With extensive leadership experience, Laoye has been the Chairman of KainosEdge Consulting Limited since October 2014, and a member of the Board of Trustees for the Financial Market Dealers Association of Nigeria since 2008. Previously, Laoye held the role of CEO at The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) until December 2023 and served on its Board of Directors. Notably, Laoye was the President of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) from 2010 to 2012 and the Chairman of the Education Committee from 2006 to 2008. Other significant roles include Managing Director/CEO at Kakawa Discount House and member of the Board of Directors at FMDQ OTC Plc. Laoye's educational background includes an MBA in Chartered Banking from Bangor University and a Master’s in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos.
