Dudley Strawn

Dudley Strawn is the current Chief Human Resources Officer at Hilltop Holdings. Dudley has previously held the position of SVP, Human Resources at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation and Director, HR Business Consulting at MetLife.

Dudley has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and has been instrumental in leading their team to provide strategic direction/planning and change leadership. Dudley has introduced and built core HR capabilities including Employee Relations, Recruiting, Metrics, Policy Design/Review, Base Compensation and Incentive Structures, Training, and Leadership Coaching.

At MetLife, Dudley managed a team of HR Business Partners supporting MetLife Bank. Dudley provided coaching and counseling to Bank executives in corporate and field sales and operations roles. Dudley also developed and implemented HR policies and processes including HR approval and Bank signing authority matrices, internal transfers, quarterly ratings, reduction in force and sponsorship. In addition, they developed and facilitated annual HR initiatives including Succession Planning, Talent Assessment, Compensation Planning, Performance Management for sales and non-sales.

Dudley has a proven track record in partnering with Bank Executives to develop and implement business tools including Watch List process, Cost Center Management, Sales Boards and Branch Pulse Checks. Dudley is also an expert in advising leaders on HR metrics, employee relations issues, organizational design, retention and overall people strategies.

Dudley Strawn completed a MA in Communication and BA in Sociology at The University of Memphis.
