Whole Loan Trader at Hilltop Securities

Karl Partch has had an extensive career in the financial industry. Karl began their career in 1986 at Hamilton, Carter Smith & Company as a Portfolio Analyst. In 1989, they joined Bank of America as a Portfolio Analyst and later became a Whole Loan Trader. In 1991, they moved to Merrill Lynch as a Director, where they bought and sold custom whole loan and mortgage-backed securities portfolios. Karl also managed a desk position of fixed rate and adjustable rate mortgages. Karl continued to hold the Director position at Merrill Lynch until 2012.

In 2012, they joined Wunderlich Securities as a Mortgage Trader, where they traded mortgage products until 2014. Karl then joined Cantor Fitzgerald as a Managing Director, a role they held until 2019. Currently, Karl is working at Hilltop Securities Inc. as a Whole Loan Trader, starting in 2020.

Karl Partch obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from UCLA between 1982 and 1986. Additionally, between 1992 and 1994, they attended California State University, Northridge, although information regarding the degree obtained or the field of study pursued during this period is not available.
