Jacqueline (Jackie) Copeland is an accomplished professional in museum education and management with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens since December 2021, Jackie previously held key leadership roles, including Executive Director and Director of Education & Visitor Services at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture from September 2017 to August 2020. Jackie's academic contributions include teaching art history at both Towson University and Maryland Institute College of Art. Additionally, Jackie has served in various capacities at esteemed institutions such as the Walters Art Museum and Walker Art Center, where significant contributions were made in audience engagement and education. Jackie holds a BA in Art History from Muhlenberg College and furthered education at the University of Rochester.
