Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens presents a way of living that has nearly vanished. It is the only public site in the District of Columbia of a noted collector, philanthropist, and socialite’s home and estate—where presidents, heads of states, ambassadors, politicians, and dignitaries were formally entertained in the mid-twentieth century.

The board of directors at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens has a long history of experience in many different industries. Members have served on the board of directors for the Academy Art Museum, the St. Andrews Episcopal School, and the Parents Council of Washington. The current chair of the board is the Parents Association at The Langley School.
