Josep Solà

Josep Solà is a highly experienced professional in the fields of technology and mountaineering, currently serving as the Co-founder and CTO of Aktiia since May 2018. With a strong background in research and development, Josep has led significant projects related to cuffless blood pressure monitoring at CSEM from August 2007 to June 2018, including work on various optical and impedance sensor technologies. Additionally, Josep has operated as a Guide Haute Montagne UIAGM with the Association Suisse des Guides de Montagne since September 2013. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Sciences degree from ETH Zürich focusing on continuous non-invasive blood pressure estimation and certification as a mountain guide from the Association Suisse des Guides de Montagne. Early career experiences include roles at Sony and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
