Niels Arendsen

Niels Arendsen is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as BIM Lead Engineer at Hilti Nederland BV since December 2015. In this role, Niels is responsible for delivering design services for large BIM-driven projects, facilitating collaboration between project managers and BIM modelers to create effective design guidelines, coordinate engineering solutions, and ensure adherence to standards and regulations. Previously, Niels held positions as National Specification Engineer and Field Engineer at Hilti Nederland BV, and served as Chairman of the Technical Committee for Vereniging MDG, overseeing the Technical Guideline for Metal Roofs and Facades. Niels began a career in sales engineering at Fuji Seal Europe before obtaining an Engineer’s Degree in Werktuigbouwkunde from Eindhoven University of Technology.
