Douglas Barger is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and events industry. Currently serving as a Sr Sales Manager at Hilton Norfolk THE MAIN since May 2023, Douglas previously held key roles including Director of Event and Catering Sales at Rivers Casino Portsmouth and Sr Sales Leader at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, a Churchill Downs Inc Property. Douglas also contributed as Sr Sales Manager at BENCHMARK, focusing on corporate and association meetings at IACC-certified venues, and as Destination Sales Manager for VisitLEX, promoting tourism in Kentucky. Earlier in the career, Douglas worked with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts as a Regional Sales Manager and was pivotal in the opening of Raleigh Marriott City Center as the Director of Group Sales.
