Ruth Dewa Ayu

Ruth Dewa Ayu is an experienced events manager currently working at Him For Ruth's since June 2023, a social impact venture focused on increasing diversity on corporate boards. Previously, Ruth served as the Assistant Director of Public Programs at The National September 11 Memorial & Museum from February 2019 to April 2022, where responsibilities included leading programs to engage diverse audiences regarding the ongoing impact of 9/11. Ruth also held the position of Program Lead for Adult Communities at the Victoria and Albert Museum from December 2016 to December 2017, focusing on social impact public programming to foster a sense of belonging among underrepresented groups. Earlier experience includes roles as Project Manager at London Bubble Theatre Company and Egham Museum, where Ruth managed funded projects aimed at heritage and community engagement, as well as positions at The British Library and Victoria and Albert Museum in various support roles. Ruth’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Victorian Literature, Art & Culture and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, both from Royal Holloway, University of London.
