Suhail Rashid

Suhail Rashid has over 16 years of work experience in various financial and audit roles. Suhail is currently the Head of Internal Audit & Compliance at Himont Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd. In this role, they establish risk-based audit plans and conducts internal compliance reviews.

Prior to this, Suhail worked at Nestle Pakistan Ltd for 10 years. Suhail was a Zonal Controller, responsible for managing risk, trade spend evaluation, and leading business process transformation. Suhail also served as a Zonal Sales Control Officer, where they developed monthly business reviews, prepared trade spend reports, and analyzed losses.

Suhail also worked at World Health Organization, where they were an Accounts Officer for the National TB Control Program. Suhail supervised and audited accounting records, and prepared financial reports. Additionally, they gained experience as an Accounts Assistant/Intern at the World Health Organization.

Earlier in their career, Suhail worked as a Regional Accounts Officer at Nestle Pakistan Ltd and as an Accounts Officer at SME Bank Ltd. In these roles, they maintained and supervised accounts, prepared reports, and monitored financial performance.

Throughout their career, Suhail has demonstrated expertise in audit, compliance, risk management, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

Suhail Rashid completed their D.Com degree in 1995 at Govt College of Commerce, where they studied Business Principles, Accounts, Statistics, and Business Math. Suhail then pursued a B.Com degree at the same institution from 1996 to 1998, focusing on Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, Taxation, and Statistics. From 1999 to 2003, Suhail attended the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan, where they obtained a CMA degree with a specialization in Financial Management, Management, Management Accounting, Corporate Performance Evaluation, and Marketing.
