Juanita Threat

Juanita Threat has over 30 years of experience in healthcare information systems and project management. Currently serving as Manager of Healthcare Information Systems at HIMSS since October 2005, Juanita also held the role of Coordinator within the organization. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Assistant at Opelika Light and Power from 1999 to 2001 and as Project Manager at Boat Owners Association of The United States from 1987 to 1999. Earlier in Juanita's career, the role of Data Center Manager was held at Dynatax Systems from 1984 to 1987. Educational qualifications include coursework at The University of Connecticut Health Center from 2007 to 2008, studies at the University of Connecticut from 1968 to 1970, and attendance at Virginia Commonwealth University.
