Rebecca Messing Haigler

Rebecca Messing Haigler is the lead for health economics, value-based care models and market access of clinical platforms at Verily Life Sciences. She has over 16 years of experience working with healthcare payers, providers and suppliers to navigate the complex care delivery system landscape towards population health management and generate strategic value.

Previously, Haigler directed Northern California accountable care organizations (ACOs) at Blue Shield of California, managing more than 55,000 covered lives. Partnering with key strategic providers, she designed innovative ACO expansion models in new product lines, regions and care delivery programs.

In addition, Haigler was responsible for leading the Strategy Practice at The Chartis Group, a consulting advisory firm dedicated to health systems, provider groups and payers. Previously she served as director, analytics at Sg2 Healthcare Intelligence.

Rebecca earned dual graduate degrees from UC Berkeley, which includes a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in health policy management. She received her bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan.
