Souvik Mukherjee

Souvik Mukherjee is an experienced civil engineering professional with a progressive career in the construction and cement industries. Currently serving as Area Head Civil at Hindalco Industries Limited since August 2025, Souvik previously held the position of Engineer- Civil & Projects at UltraTech Cement from June 2023 to July 2025. Prior to that, Souvik was with Meghalaya Cements Limited, working as an Assistant Civil Engineer after starting as a Graduate Engineer Trainee between September 2019 and May 2023. Souvik's initial exposure to the industry began as an Industrial Trainee at Rashmi Metaliks Limited in July 2017. Souvik enhanced professional qualifications with a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Alliance University and is currently pursuing a PGDM in Project Management from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, set to complete in December 2024.
