Julie Helweg

Julie Helweg is the current Director of Asset Management Nordics at Hines. Julie has over seven years of experience in the real estate industry, with a focus on investment strategies and asset management.

Julie began their career as an Associate at Composition Capital Partners, where they were part of the Europe team. Her responsibilities included monitoring existing fund investments, investor reporting, and participating in advisory board meetings. Julie also played an active role in the selection of local partners, due diligence, risk identification and portfolio construction for a new European fund. In addition, Julie was responsible for implementing Corporate Social Responsibility within the company.

In November 2013, Julie joined CBRE Global Investors EMEA as a Senior Associate. Within the Investment Strategies and Structuring department, they acted as a project manager/leader for a variety of business projects in a multi-disciplined environment. Her responsibilities included supporting the execution of corporate strategies across EMEA, (re)developing investment strategies, business development, conducting fund expiries and fund reviews, and standardizing internal processes.

Most recently, Julie has been working as the Director of Asset Management Nordics at Hines since January 2018. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing and managing the portfolio of assets in the Nordics region.

Julie Helweg completed a BSc in Economics and Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School, followed by an MSc in Finance and Accounting at the same school. Julie also attended a summerschool in Business Analysis and Valuation, and Financial Markets at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In addition, they have studied French Language at Université Stendhal Grenoble 3.

Julie Helweg reports to James Robson, Senior Managing Director, Denmark. Julie Helweg works with Parthia Ghaziani - Acquisition Manager, Karen Egede Nielsen - Development Director, and Martin Schou - Head of Contruction.
