Candice Weaver

Candice Weaver is the current Health Coach Manager at Hinge Health. Candice has been in the customer service and health industry for many years. Candice started as a Patient Advocate at Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation from August 2019 to December 2019. In this role, they assisted customers with changing unwanted behaviors and increasing customer motivation and self-efficacy. Candice provided quality customer service via telephonic and online coaching to a variety of vendors including military, state-sponsored programs, corporate wellness and health plans.

Candice developed and conducted virtual health-related wellness seminars for employees, military members, and military family members, using motivational interviewing techniques, appreciative inquiry and decision matrices, setting SMART goals. Candice conducted monthly webinars throughout 2009 - 2010 for Military OneSource on health-related topics, including managing stress, weight loss, exercise and goal setting, allowing members world-wide to attend Lunch and Learns about chronic disease-specific topics, facilitating questions and offering additional resources.

Candice expanded Department of Defense (DoD) training documents, discussing and identifying available resources for military population and assisting in training additional coaches on account. Candice addressed customer recoveries from online or telephonic participants when requested by manager, contacting member and resolving issues, experiencing zero customer recoveries and held customer satisfaction rate of 96%, exceeding standards.

Candice Weaver pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in Community Health and Preventive Medicine. Candice also completed a Bachelor of community health education at New Mexico State University in Public Health. Candice Weaver is certified from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching as a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc as a Certified Health Education Specialist.

They are on a team with Michael Litzenberg - Health Coach Manager, Allison Richards - Project Manager, Coaching Team, and Cheri Lehr - Health Coach Manager. Candice Weaver reports to Kayleigh Martin, Coach Learning & Development Manager.
