Matthew Russell is the Head of Digital Acquisition at Hinge Health. Prior to their current position, they worked at Google for five years as a Search Strategy & Growth - Mobile Apps. There, they were responsible for working directly with Google product teams to set a go-to-market strategy for scaling adoption and implementation of search initiatives across a $xB portfolio. Matthew also partnered with some of Google's largest customers to provide strategy consultation and activation support for complex and high impact growth marketing opportunities.

Before Google, Matthew was the Director of Account Management at ESV Digital, where they oversaw a team of 10+ digital marketing account management professionals, analysts, and salespeople. Matthew was also responsible for providing strategic direction for paid search, performance display, paid social, video, and other digital initiatives across a wide range of clients. Additionally, they developed and owned the go-to-market sales and pricing strategy for two SaaS offerings - a paid search automation platform and a multitouch attribution reporting suite.

Matthew began their career as a Marketing Strategist at Crisp Strategy.

Matthew Russell has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and is certified in Python for Everybody by University of Michigan, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, Bing Ads Accredited Professional, and Google AdWords Certified - Search, Display, Mobile, Shopping, and Video.
