Alex Boyd

Alex Boyd is the current Vice President of Commercial Lending at Hingham Institution For Savings. Alex has over fifteen years of experience in the banking and financial industry.

Boyd began their career in 1995 as an AVP at AEW Capital Management. Alex then spent three years as a Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank before moving to Washington Mutual in 2003. After a year at Washington Mutual, Boyd joined HSBC Bank (USA) in 2004, where they served as a Relationship Manager in the Commercial Real Estate Group for five years.

In 2009, Boyd left HSBC to join Hingham Institution For Savings as their Vice President of Commercial Lending. In this role, they are responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial loans and providing guidance and support to clients throughout the loan process.

Alex Boyd has a MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, a MA in English Literature from UMass Boston, and a BA in English from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
